The CALS International Programs office received a group of 3 visitors from the National Agrarian University from April 24-26. The group visited as part of the second phase of their project to create a Scientific and Technology Park for the agrarian sector at the National Agrarian University La Molina in Lima, Peru
Peruvian INIA researchers receive training at NC State
Global Academy and CREdO hosted five INIA researchers at NC State University from Jan 26- Feb 9. They learned about subjects ranging from potato breeding to climate change and proposal writing. Although the two weeks flew by, we know this is just the beginning of a long-lasting relationship between our institutions.
CALS International Programs: Building Lasting Connections in Bosnia & Herzegovina
Following a recent fruitful Bosnia and Herzegovina trip made by Dr. Vivek Fellner and Dr. Peter Ojiambo, José Cisneros—the Director of CALS International Programs—visited the country in late July. The objective of this trip was to evaluate the bigger picture and strategize a mutually beneficial collaboration between NC State and Bosnia.
Bosnia and Herzegovina: From a Short-Term Training Program to Long-Term Collaborations
A lasting international collaboration started when Bosnian Fellows visited NC State as part of a USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Cochran Fellowship in October 2017.
