The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) does extraordinary things for North Carolina with the support of our alumni and friends.
Gifts big and small not only strengthen our college, but they also help to secure the future of agriculture in our state. When the Golden LEAF Foundation invested $45 million in the Plant Sciences Initiative, it was building on the $9 million contributed by 42 agricultural groups across the state — and the $85 million approved by voters through the Connect NC Bond. People look to our college to lead the way to a more prosperous North Carolina.
NC State’s agricultural research and extension produce more than $1 billion in economic impact for rural North Carolina each year. Our deep roots in the state date back to the university’s founding as a land-grant institution, and they’re sustained by a network of CALS graduates and invested agricultural groups who understand the importance of supporting our college’s teaching, research and extension mission.Make a Gift
