NC State Grows Partnership with Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
NC State and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) have many meaningful formal and informal relationships with institutions in China. NC State’s relationships within the country are valued partners in the areas of agriculture and life sciences whose efforts develop mutually beneficial active collaboration, educational training and scientific exchange.
Research Experience in The Land of Potatoes: Peru
At NC State, Mark Watson’s schedule remains fairly filled with his three majors: Horticulture Science, Crop and Soil Science, and Spanish Language and Literature. Yet, when Summer 2018 rolled around, he had his sight set on pursuing a 12 week-long research experience at the Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP) or International Potato Center.

Teaching Associate Professor Shweta Trivedi has led one of NC State’s most unique and hands-on study abroad programs: 15 days of full-time work alongside a wildlife veterinarian on his rounds across Limpopo Province and Greater Kruger National Park area in South Africa.
