Medical Ethnobotanist Seminar: Cassandra Quave

The Integrative Science Initiative and the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative are excited to announce that medical ethnobotanist Cassandra Quave will presenting a seminar at NC State on April 21, 2023 at 2-3 p.m. in the Plant Sciences Building, Room 1322.
As a medical ethnobotanist, Dr. Quave’s work focuses on the documentation and pharmacological evaluation of plants used in traditional medicine. Her science memoir, The Plant Hunter: A Scientist’s Quest for Nature’s Next Medicines, was published in 2021.
