Kate and Kaleby Little are living the life they always dreamed of. After meeting at NC State, they got married, bought a beef farm, and are now raising their 1-year-old daughter to love agriculture just as much as they do.

NC has more phosphorus from animal manure than our farms can use. NC State is partnering to evaluate a low-cost swine sludge dryer to reduce hog lagoon sludge and create farm revenue from exported fertilizer.
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean Richard Linton to Step Down
Dean Richard Linton will step down from his position at NC State this month to become the president of Kansas State. Linton joined NC State as the dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2012 and has grown the college to 294 faculty in 12 different departments, more than 2,700 undergraduate students and more than 1,000 graduate students during his tenure.
