$1 Million in Scholarships

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) awards more than $1 million in scholarships and fellowships to over 600 students each year, most in the $1,000 to $2,000 range. In 2017, 88% of CALS scholarships were awarded to current undergraduate and Agricultural Institute students.

Prospective Students

Apply for freshman admission by October 15 for priority consideration of all CALS scholarships. The CALS scholarship application will be required for consideration and is accessible after admission. All students who apply for admission by October 15 and apply for financial aid via FAFSA by March 1 will automatically be considered for university-level, need-based academic scholarships.

Current Students

Don't lose your scholarship benefits. If you're a current undergraduate or graduate student, you must reapply each year to continue receiving your scholarship(s). See our resources below to get started with the application process today.

Scholarships and Financial Aid Deadlines

See the deadlines below to apply for financial aid and respond to award letters. Failure to complete required applications or meet these deadlines can reduce the amount of aid or disqualify you from receiving aid. Review our Financial Aid Tips page for more information.

Note: The scholarship award will be included later in the University Financial Aid package but is pending return of thank-you note.
