Emerging Research Showcase: Talent & Workforce Development

NC State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences invites you to attend the next fully in-person Emerging Research Showcase: Talent and Workforce Development. Join us on Thursday, May 4, 2023 starting at 3:00pm EST as we turn the focus on the university’s role in talent and workforce development and academic research into workforce and leadership for a new generation.

In a departure from our usual Emerging Research Showcase series, we’ll meet some of the faculty who focus on developing agricultural, food system, and life sciences leaders, transformational leadership, pedagogy, and “showcase” professional development, certificate, and professional science masters programs. In addition to our guest and faculty presenters, we’ll hear from current and former students about their experience in these programs.

3:00 p.m. – Welcome and Setting the Stage

Productive outcomes from the events include but are not limited to: philanthropic support, sponsored research, defining commercialization potential, or joining a research team as an external partner.
