Research Interests
Dr. Yang’s work mainly focuses on developing sustainability solutions for the global food system by applying system-level analysis, including machine learning, techno-economic analysis (TEA), and life-cycle assessment (LCA). In particular, she is interested in exploring the role of plant-based food and cellular agriculture in food sustainability and diverse strategies to mitigate life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions in food and bioprocessing.
