Sunday, June 4th: Farm to Fork Picnic at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro
Farm to Fork Picnic Weekend culminates Sunday with the 10th annual Farm to Fork Picnic at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro. The picnic features more than three dozen Triangle chefs producing delectable, bite-size dishes featuring local, seasonal ingredients grown by a farmer specifically paired with that chef. The event also spotlights more than two dozen local food artisans and breweries; each providing samples of their products, and local wine, coffee and tea companies.
Live music will be provided by Big Fat Gap and The Holland Brothers. For a fun keepsake, be sure to capture your experience in the ZimZoom photo booth!
Tickets for the picnic are $100 per adult, $50 for ages 12-20 (no alcohol), and kids under 12 are free.
All proceeds benefit farmer training programs at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems and the W.C. Breeze Family Farm Extension and Research Center.
Farm to Fork fundraising efforts operate under the auspices of the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, tax ID number 56-6049304.
