Bio

As an Interdisciplinary Project Launch Director, I work with collaborative research teams to launch sponsored projects and transition them to permanent structures. I am a biologist by training, completing a B.S. at NC State University, Ph.D. at Virginia Tech, and postdoc at Florida State University. Throughout my research career, I enjoyed bringing together interdisciplinary teams to tackle complex problems, and I won support for these endeavors through academic, government, and industry sponsored programs. I look forward to supporting exciting and innovative research projects with the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative, NC State University, and beyond!
