Extension and research responsibilities for vegetable crops. Program emphasis on developing and optimizing cultural practices for commercial production of vegetables. Interestsinclude stand establishment, plasticulture, developing new alternative crops, drip irrigation, nutrition, and seed physiology. Crop emphasis is with sweetpotato and cucurbits.
