Esther Morris is a Pesticide Safety Education Assistant in the Department of Horticultural Science. She serves as one of the primary instructors for NC State Extension’s statewide Pesticide Safety Schools, conducting two-day in-person training programs at extension centers across North Carolina to prepare and certify commercial and private pesticide applicators. In addition to teaching, Esther collaborates with state regulators, university researchers, and extension agents to develop in-person and online educational materials, deliver science-based safety guidance, and promote compliant, safe pesticide practices across the state.
