At the annual BRIDGE Symposium, graduate students and postdocs discuss creative bridges across disciplines that could lead to improvements in the economy, environment and people’s lives.
The Processing and Products Academy (PPA) workshop will include topics on primary, secondary, further processing, meat chemistry, meat quality and defects, process improvement, products, and safety for 1 days. The NCYI is hosted by NC State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, North Carolina Cooperative Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Program and the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences and is a part of the World Food Prize Foundation’s Global Youth Institute. Youth come to campus in the spring of each year to attend the two-day long institute at NC State University and share a research paper and poster they have created among peers and a panel of judges. Hands-on workshops, field trips, keynotes and career development round out the event.

The STEPS Center is proud to host it's annual REU Research Symposium in the PSB, which will feature research posters and presentations prepared by each of their REU students.
The N.C. PSI Hackathon is an annual event that gives undergraduates, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars the chance to demonstrate their skills in a three-day competition to solve ag tech-related challenges for prizes and, of course, bragging rights.
