Data science is the focus of this first-in-a-series of North Carolina Plant Sciences Initiative Mashups. Speakers Mark Wolff, from leading analytics company SAS, and Haley Houser, from NC State University’s Data Science Academy, will highlight research from their programs. Their seminar will be from 4 to 5 p.m., and a mixer will follow from 5 to 6. The seminar takes place in the seminar room on the Plant Sciences Building’s main floor, while a networking event will be in the Innovation Hub on the building’s third floor.
