Students

We're training the next generation of poultry science leaders. Your opportunity awaits.

Join Our Flock

Poultry scientists are in high demand. Especially ours.

As one of only six poultry science departments in the United States – and with increasing worldwide demand for poultry – it’s our job to prepare students for careers in the burgeoning poultry industry.

We offer two poultry science degree tracks: a technology-focused degree to prepare students for a career in agribusiness, and a science-focused degree that prepares students for graduate or professional school. We also provide a very popular poultry science minor.

Any of our advanced degrees — three master’s options, a feed milling graduate certificate and a Ph.D. — can advance your career.

Prestage students and faculty are trailblazers. Our innovations range from in ovo vaccination and in ovo feeding to feed technologies that improve bird health. Our integrated approach and network of research stations provide students with unique on-farm experience through research and Extension.

Join our flock and you’ll be part of one of the best programs in the world.
