Bio
Kimberly Allen, Ph.D., BCC, CFLC, is interim associate dean, director of Academic Programs and a professor in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at North Carolina State University.
Allen provides leadership and vision for academic programming, working with Academic Programs staff, faculty, departmental academic staff and student groups. She works to enhance excellence in CALS students and increase enrollment. Allen dedicates herself to sustaining and creating strong programs, improving diversity and inclusion and supporting the CALS community.
Allen has over 20 years of experience working with youth and their families, and her research interests include family life coaching, student success, parenting and relationship education. She is the co-creator of the Family Life Coaching Association and the co-owner of Sweet Gestalt, LLC. She also authored Theory, Research, and Practical Guidelines for Family Life Coaching.
