Bio
Plants studied are cultivated ornamentals with identification and nomenclatural problems. Research objectives include an inventory of cultivated taxa with their biology, improved quantitative descriptions, ordering of the nomenclature, qualitative observations and notes, and providing keys and other aids to identification.
Current research on new germplasm documentation, liriopogons, and international collaboration in providing revisionary and floristic treatments of resupinate papilionaceous legumes (Barbieria, Centrosema, Clitoria) and vouchering of cultivated ornamental plants for deposit in NCsU Herbarium and the National Arboretum Herbarium, Washington, DC.
