Midweek with Mark: The Colorful Life of Marianne North

Marianne North was an English biologist and botanical artist. She is noted for her plant and landscape paintings, many of which reside in the Marianne North Gallery at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Marianne traveled extensively and discovered new plants along the way. Learn more about her during this week's Midweek with Mark.

FOA Lecture: Deborah Chud: A Piet Oudolf Story

The first half of Deborah Chud 's "Piet Oudolf Story" traces her discovery of Piet Oudolf's work, her research on his plant combinations, and her use of that research to create a garden in his style. The second half covers the historical context in which he emerged as a landscape designer and his basic principles of landscape design.
