Margaret “Margie” P. Collins Fund for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
Margie Collins, a 1979 CALS horticultural science graduate, who has had a successful career in nursery sales and as the local accountant for one of the largest legal firms in the Southeast, now assists nonprofits using her accounting skills.
To benefit undergraduate students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who have demonstrated not only academic achievement, but also a genuine interest in leadership and a desire to serve their community, the College, and the University.
A minimum of two awards from this endowment shall be made to one Agricultural Institute (two-year) student; and one undergraduate (four-year) student within any major offered by the College, with preference given to areas in the Department of Horticultural Science.
