Successful Small Farm Opportunities Conference

The popular, annual Successful Small Farms Opportunities Conference will be held at Louisburg College, Louisburg on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 8 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
The opening speaker, Emily Febles, NC Industrial Hemp Commission’s Industrial Hemp Program Manager, will address The Business of Hemp: Guidelines and Opportunities.

- Growing Herbs/Cut Flowers for Production & Marketing
The Franklin County Beekeepers will be teaching both beginner and advanced classes in the morning and afternoon session.
A fee of $50 per participant will include a resource notebook, lunch and snack. A trade show of
area farm businesses will be present. The popular free seed exchange will also be included this year.
