Coastal Wetland Transformations
September 16, 2021 | 10:00 am - 11:00 am EDT
Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center is teaming up with the South Atlantic Blueprint Team to co-sponsor a series of special webinars.
Coastal wetland ecosystems provide critical habitat for many of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s trust species, and they deliver important ecological functions. Two recognized threats to coastal wetland stability and the wildlife that depend on these ecosystems are the projected acceleration of rates of sea-level rise and/or wetland subsidence.
Join us for a presentation on coastal wetland transformation by Michelle Moorman, who works with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Southeast Region Inventory and Monitoring Branch.
