‘Advanced’ Queen Rearing Workshop for Beekeepers
January 28 | 8:30 am - 4:00 pm EST
The NC State University Apiculture Program is initiating its ‘Advanced’ BEES Academies with training on Queen Rearing. Lead by Dr. Tarpy and Jennifer Keller and like previous BEES Academies, it will include lectures and ‘hands-on’ learning experiences, but it will not include live bees for weather and logistical reason. This will be a one-day event and experienced beekeepers are invited to attend. Preregistration is required. The registration free will include lunch, drinks, and snacks as well as a manual, a t-shirt, and bound book of lecture notes for notetaking.
