4-Year Bachelor of Science Spend a Day at State Visitation Program
Our program is designed for high school juniors and seniors interested in a CALS major, and it is offered on select Fridays each semester.

Our program offers high school freshmen and sophomores who are beginning their college search — and have not decided on a primary major — an opportunity to hear from current students, see campus and learn about CALS!

Can parents and guardians attend the sessions?
Yes. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to attend all in-person or virtual sessions with their students.
I will need a school excuse note to participate. How can I obtain one?

Is there a virtual tour of campus?
Yes – learn more at visit.ncsu.edu.
Is there an in-person, guided tour of campus?
You can attend an available on-campus tour led by an NC State student ambassador. Guided campus tours will be offered Monday through Friday, starting at Talley Student Union. You can expect to travel around the main campus for approximately one hour. Learn more at visit.ncsu.edu. If these tours are full when you visit through one of our CALS programs, we will offer a guided campus tour led by our CALS ambassadors as part of your CALS experience.
