Fall 2023 AGI Spend-A-Day-At-State registration is open!

Our priority is the safety and health of our visitors to campus so guests will be expected to follow the university safety measures by wearing masks while indoors.

During your on-campus visit, you will: 

  • Meet our director and have the chance to ask questions
  • Chat one-on-one with an academic advisor or faculty member and learn more about your major or area of interest
  • Attend an AGI class
  • Chat with AGI student ambassadors for the inside scoop on life in AGI
  • Enjoy Howling cow Ice cream

Information for Your Visit

We want your visit to NC State to be memorable and fun. See some of the most frequently asked questions about the Spend-a-Day-at-State experience.

You will be sent an email containing the time of your visit with instructions on how to get to the correct location, as well as parking info.

Once your visit begins, you can expect to spend 2-3 hours on campus.

Your visit includes attending a general overview session and Q&A, a meeting with a faculty member in your area of interest, and meeting with a current student.

A current student will give a brief tour while you head across campus to get some howling cow ice cream!
