Academic Resources
Each student is supported by a team of three faculty and staff members from the start. This team helps connect you to resources, explain policies and procedures, provide academic guidance, and support your overall success.

- The CALS advising team helps students navigate their college journey, get involved, and make an impact in the Wolfpack community. Through teaching, advising, first-year programs and broad knowledge of CALS departments and majors, we provide guidance on CALS majors and opportunities, helping students find the right path for them.
- Directors of Undergraduate Programs (DUPs) manage departmental undergraduate programs and are the authority on departmental academic matters. The DUP assigns advisees to advisors in their majors and is usually the first point of contact for students in their departments.
- Faculty and professional advisors are the authorities on academics and career-specific matters in the majors, providing advice on courses, careers, internships, research experiences and jobs.
