Animal and Poultry Waste Management Center Processing Facility

The long-term sustainability of animal production agriculture in North Carolina may depend on new uses of animal by-products.

NC State’s APWMC Waste Processing Facility (Waste Management Facility) – located at the Lake Wheeler Road Field Laboratory – provides the infrastructure and equipment for faculty and APWMC members to explore and meet objectives for converting animal by-products into value-added products.
