Sizzling Succulents
June 24, 2023 | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT
Colorful and creative succulents are one of the easiest ways to brighten a patio or garden with little effort. Brie Arthur, a local best-selling author, professional horticulturist and lifelong gardener, will share growing and propagation advice about her favorite tender and hardy succulents. You can attend in person or virtually.
All participants will learn from Arthur about creative combinations for year-round interest and new introductions for cold hardy zones during the morning lecture.
Participants who sign up for the in-person experience can stay after the lecture to create a “sizzling succulent” container with Arthur and take home their new creation. The JC Raulston Arboretum will provide all the needed materials, including the container, soil and plants. This is a great way to put your new knowledge into practice and have Arthur’s expertise while arranging your container for a guaranteed sizzling summer display.
