NC PSI Hackathon 2023

This year, the PSI Hackathon is centered around Ag-tech innovation in the areas of bioinformatics, data science and hardware fabrication. Each one of these “tracks” will have one or more challenges, and will be inclusive to participants with various levels of experience.

TRACK 1: Point & Click Machine Learning (Beginner Coding)
No code and no previous experience in SAS Visual Analytics required. You will explore corn datasets and apply machine learning for predicting yield.
TRACK 2: Machine Learning for Agriculture (Experienced Coding)
You will create machine learning models in Python (or programming language of choice) that will identify weather and genotypic factors important for predicting and/or optimizing yield. *Virtual Attendance Available
TRACK 3: Hardware (Intermediate Maker)
Explore a 3D design and printing challenge incorporating basic hardware components.
