Anna Blight Parker

My research centers on the evolution, phylogeny, and physiology of the Pyrophorini
(Coleoptera: Elateridae). As an undergraduate, I worked on a phylogenetic revision of this
beetle tribe, and I am continuing this work at NCSU. I also worked at the Monte L. Bean
Museum, curating Coleoptera and Odonata for the museum’s collection and creating exhibits
centered around insects.
