Charity Stalling
Bio
Charity is a North Carolina native from Tyner, North Carolina, where she found her passion for agriculture.
Charity came to NC State her sophomore year to pursue an agricultural sciences degree, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2023. During her undergraduate journey, Charity was a member in Agronomy Club, Collegiate Young Farmers and Ranchers and the NC State Club Softball team. Additionally, Charity served her hometown as a student summer intern at the Chowan County Cooperative Extension office following graduation.
Currently, Charity is pursuing an master’s in agricultural and extension education, where her research involves work in the CALS Alumni for Student Success (CASS) Program. Charity’s passion for agriculture, helping others succeed and incorporating communication and outreach prepared her for a facilitator role in the CASS Program, working with CALS students and alumni, friends and supporters.
Additionally, Charity works with the Agricultural Institute’s Golden Leaf Grant Foundation initiative. She works on curriculum development, including recruitment presentations, lessons, handouts, assessments and data reports.
