Good morning, CALS Department Heads, Extension Leaders, Admins and Soybean Investigators:

Many Soybean Investigators will have already received the attached call for proposals from the North Carolina Soybean Producers’ Association, Inc. via direct e-mail from the Associations Research Coordinator, Katherine Stowe.

I’ve made every effort to include all CALS soybean investigators on this communication, but please share it more broadly at your earliest convenience, to ensure no one has been missed.

In order to give the CALS Contracts & Grants unit and NC Agricultural Research Services time to review the proposals and reports before they are transmitted to the Association, please plan to have these submitted for review no later than October 9, 2019.

The Word document attached contains additional guidance on preparing and submitting your proposals and reports, which many of you have already shared forward. Also, please note that attached to this e-mail are templates to use for preparing proposals and reports. The proposal template shared here is updated slightly from the one shared by Katherine.
