Dr. Gary Moore will be retiring from North Carolina State University on June 30, 2017. Many of you have had him as a teacher, advisor, graduate committee chair, and workshop presenter. His remarkable career would place him among the giants of agricultural education since its inception. He is a scholar, mentor, friend, and leader in agricultural education. His research and publications on the history of agricultural education, teaching methods, and outhouses are legendary.

To celebrate we are planning a retirement celebration on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at the Cary Church of Christ, 6640 Tryon Rd, Cary, NC, starting at 6:00 pm. We will enjoy a wonderful meal and spend a little time roasting our friend and colleague.

The meal will be catered by Hook and Cleaver Market on Broad, Fuquay-Varina, NC. The meal will be “farm to table,” and include appetizers, two meat options, fresh vegetables, salad and dessert.
