The upcoming CALS Community Conversations series will focus on the effects government elections have on marginalized communities.  Since the latest civil unrest has involved the results of and reactions to the latest presidential election race, this topic is ripe for discussion.  Since in this election many marginalized communities will experience some historic firsts, this will most likely be a topic of major importance to many CALS community members. This discussion will be about how historic divisions in the US contributed to the events that occurred on January 6, 2021.
