Your CALS. Your Voice.

Employee-driven strategic planning process

Throughout the strategic planning process, the voice of CALS faculty and staff continues to be important. We have created several ways for CALS employees to share their thoughts and opinions. Upcoming engagement opportunities include:

  • CALS internal focus groups – February 2022
Small sessions for faculty, staff, undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-docs.
Email Julie Ridenour if you would like to participate.
  • CALS listening sessions – March 2022
Larger listening sessions across the state will give our CALS employees outside of the Raleigh area and external stakeholders an opportunity to make their voices heard.
Complete this interest form if you would like to join us.

Our strategic planning committee, including faculty and staff representation from across the college, continues to meet regularly to evaluate and shape the plan based on your feedback. The focus groups and listening sessions will build upon the feedback received from the CALS Compass survey distributed in fall 2021.

This strategic plan will be our compass for the next 8 years – participate to map out the future of CALS.

Why I'm helping chart our future.

CALS is a community of passionate team members that care about their work and for one another. That passion will help shape the future of this college and the impact we have for the next 10 years.

Hear from CALS colleagues and peers why they are getting involved in the strategic planning process, and add your voice.
