Understanding and Improving Garden Soils
January 29 | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EST
Understanding and Improving Garden Soils is a four-session class that will dig deep into all things soil. A scientific understanding of soil chemistry, physics, biology and fertility will help you understand basic soil principles that you can apply to improve your garden soils, properly prepare your garden beds, create great compost, fertilize appropriately and maximize growth in your garden spaces.
Bryce Lane, Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor Emeritus and Lecturer Emeritus in the Department of Horticultural Science at NC State, will teach the class. You can attend in person or online. Each session will be recorded and shared with the class.
