January 11, 2024 | 10:30 am - 1:30 pm EST
The N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative is hosting the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) for the release of CAST’s new issue paper titled “RNA Interference in Agriculture: Methods, Applications, and Governance.” The paper, led by Ana María Vélez Arango and Kenneth Narva, explores the potential of RNAi to transform modern agriculture.
The event will include a comprehensive presentation of a paper, followed by a Q&A session and a panel discussion where the authors and experts, including N.C. PSI Executive Director Adrian Percy, will delve further into the publication and answer questions. Following the panel, a light lunch will be served, allowing attendees to network with peers.
