Research Up Close: Plant Sciences Tour
Take a closer look at the research of the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative, a blooming innovation hub alchemizing cutting-edge technology with one of the oldest and most important fields of study in human history: agriculture and plant science. You’ll get to explore the beautiful building that is (green) housing the Plant Sciences Initiative’s work and meet a robot whose love of plant photography may help farmers across the globe.
This educational experience is a fun peek into some of the most hands-on and relevant research experiences on campus. Learn how data that lives deep in the weeds can be fruitful not just for scientists but for the food that ends up on your plate and how researchers are attempting to revolutionize the way we understand and care for the plants around us.
Slots are limited, so please register to attend the tour.
