Guided Forest Therapy Experience
Step away from the stresses of daily life and immerse yourself in the restorative embrace of nature. Join Shawn Ramsey, a forest therapy guide, for a two-hour guided forest experience that will invite you to slow down, awaken your senses and discover a deeper connection with the natural world. Inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, and backed by science, this experience is designed to promote stress reduction, improved mood and enhanced well-being. As you journey through the JC Raulston Arboretum’s unique urban forest, you’ll be guided through mindfulness practices and nature-inspired invitations, encouraging presence, relaxation and a renewed sense of wonder.
