FAI Innovation Exchange
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will host the Food Animal Initiative’s Innovation Exchange on June 4 at the E. Carroll Joyner Beef Education Unit. This event brings together faculty from across NC State whose expertise can help tackle the most pressing challenges in food‑animal systems. From emerging diseases and biosecurity to sustainable feed ingredients, environmental and animal sensors to manure and farm technologies and small‑scale processing innovations, the Food Animal Initiative is building multidisciplinary teams capable of competing for major federal and foundation funding. Faculty will be able to meet with potential collaborators, identify shared research interests and position themselves for large‑scale, high‑impact proposals that strengthen animal agriculture, food safety, and global protein security. Registration is required.
