Cross-College Climate Conversations
September 6, 2023 | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT
Climate change is impacting all of us in a variety of ways. We need to work together to limit further impacts and find sustainable solutions. Join the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science Climate Leaders Program each month to learn how multiple colleges are approaching these issues, to network with other students and faculty interested in these topics, find new collaborators and to be a part of the solution conversation. The September session will focus on “Addressing Climate Change Through Textiles and Alternative Fibers.” The guest speakers will be Ronalds Gonzalez, associate professor in the College of Natural Resources, David Suchoff, assistant professor in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Andre West, associate professor in the College of Textiles.
Registration is requested but not required.
