2024 Fiber Hemp Field Day

We are excited to host the third annual NC State Fiber Hemp Field Day! This year’s event will be in the Coastal Plain at the Cherry Research Farm in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
We will cover results from the 2023 field season and highlight this year’s trials, which include our official fiber hemp variety trial, nitrogen rate, cover cropping and no-till, double cropping, retting, harvest timing, and a live demo of Denise the NC State Decorticator!
This event will be outside and it will be HOT! Please dress accordingly. We will provide plenty of cold water and lunch at the end of the event.
In case of adverse weather, we will postpone the event to August 8.
