Philip Yeboah received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in general agriculture and animal nutrition from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, West Africa. After completing his studies, he worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Animal Science Department of the same university. He was later appointed as a Teaching Associate, where he taught courses, assisted faculties in their research, and supervised undergraduate project works.

Currently, he works as a Graduate Research Associate at The Prestage Department of Poultry Science at North Carolina State University, where he is pursuing his PhD in Poultry Science. His research group focuses on improving the gut health and microbiome of poultry using methods such as feed additives, probiotics, vaccination, assays for measuring gastrointestinal inflammation, etc. The group aims to control pathogens such as Eimeria, Histomonas, Salmonella, etc.
