Bio

After completing her Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas, Lisa began a research program studying poultry gut health as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas. In 2015, she moved to Ohio State University, where her research continued until 2023, when her laboratory moved to North Carolina State University. Presently, Dr. Bielke’s research group focuses on several aspects of poultry health, ranging from Eimeria and Histomonas control strategies to methods of measuring gut health, with necrotic enteritis and food safety pathogens playing a major role in areas of interest.
