Bio

Academic Advisor: Dr. Ken Anderson

I am originally from Brazil and speak fluent Portuguese and have proficiency in Spanish. I moved to the US at an early age to Raleigh, North Carolina.

I have attained my degrees (BS, MS, and future PhD) at North Carolina State University all in the field of Poultry Science.

I am also interested in house plants as a hobby and I also water all of the plants in Scott Hall, so people always see me watering the plants around the building which always sparks a lot of conversation. I additionally teach some classes pertaining to houseplant care and maintenance through the NC State Crafts Center, and I thoroughly enjoy talking chicken and plants to all who will listen!
