Feed Milling Program
The feed manufacturing program focuses on the areas of feed processing technology as it relates to improved manufacturing efficiency and finished product quality, the impact of feed processing on animal performance, and the regulatory environment impacting the feed manufacturing and related industries. Dr. Fahrenholz interacts with the feed industry through cooperative extension and as a consultant, helping to troubleshoot issues associated with manufacturing and quality control. Dr. Fahrenholz served as a Post Doctoral Research Scholar at NC State prior to joining the Faculty in October, 2013. His current responsibilities include teaching, providing industry outreach, and conducting feed manufacturing research.
