Coronavirus Pandemic Myth Busting: Are Certain Communities More or Less Susceptible to Contracting and Transferring COVID-19?

Current communication messages about the COVID-19 pandemic tend to focus more on individual risks than community risks. Dr. Huiling Ding, associate professor and director of the M.S. in technical communication program at NC State’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences; Dr. Vanessa Volpe, assistant professor and director of NC State’s Black Health Lab; and Dr. Xin Ding, assistant professor and director, Healthcare Analytics and Intelligence program at Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick, will lead this crucial conversation.
