Bio
Academic Advisor: Dr. Ramon Malheiros
I have a wide variety of work experience in the poultry industry and have worked with many species including, turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, quail, pheasants, guineas, and even pigeons. My current research focuses on improving fertility and hatchability of broiler breeders with a specific focus on rooster fertility.
Fun fact about me: I first became interested in chickens, when my dad bid on two lavender cochin chicks for me at a live auction, when I was five years old. I named them John and Clover.
