Bio

Licensed clinician Luke Strawn, M.Ed., LCMHC, works with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Sciences at North Carolina State University. Luke Strawn provides embedded counseling services and serves as an access point for NC State’s Counseling Center.

Strawn is a proud NC State alum who received his master of education in counselor education in 2017. He believes that a multifaceted approach to counseling benefits individual students, all of whom possess unique life experiences based on their intersectional identities. Everyone has their own stories that are shaped by identities and experiences. Strawn strives to honor these stories and create a space that is healing and supportive.

In his free time, Strawn enjoys playing board games (his current favorite is Lacrimosa), spending time with his partner and pups, vinyl record and antique hunting and finding the best coffee shops in the Triangle.
