The 2017 NC State University Awards for Excellence Ceremony will be held June 7, 2017, in the Talley Student Union State Ballroom.

Our college Awards for Excellence winners were submitted to the University Committee back in April for consideration for the NC State University Awards for Excellence. The University Awards for Excellence Committee will be making their announcement of the five individuals they have chosen to proceed to the state level for consideration for the Governor’s Awards for Excellence. Please join us Wednesday to support our college winners!

The NC State University Awards for Excellence is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon non-faculty employees.

The Awards for Excellence commence each year when all colleges and business units across campus select employees as Awards for Excellence recipients. In addition to receiving eight hours of paid time off and a $250 check from the respective college or business unit, recipients are also honored at the NC State University Awards for Excellence ceremony, where five individuals receive special distinction as recipients of the NC State University Awards for Excellence.

The five recipients of the NC State University Awards for Excellence receive an additional eight hours of paid time off, a check for $250, and an engraved award plaque. The NC State University Awards for Excellence recipients are also submitted for consideration for the Governor’s Awards for Excellence, which is the highest honor awarded to a State employee.
