Director of Major Research Institute in Central Africa Visits NC State

Biosciences Eastern Central Africa (BecA) Director, Dr. Appolinaire Djikeng, Visits NC State

Dr. Appolinaire Djikeng, director of Biosciences Eastern Central Africa International Livestock Research Institute (BecA-ILRI) in Kenya, visited NC State for two days in August. During the visit, Dr. Djikeng met with a number of NC State and CALS faculty and staff to discuss and finalize an MOU between the two institutions. Dr. Djikeng also toured the campus with his family, which included a visit to the Howling Cow dairy plant.
